Internet provider outages — Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Xfinity, Spectrum, and more

·Tracking 55 services·All operational

ISP and carrier outages are the most ambiguous kind: the website may be unreachable for one neighbourhood, one tower, or half a city, while everyone else sees no problem. This page tracks the major US providers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Xfinity, Spectrum, Cox) plus international carriers, and shows whether their public website is reachable from our probe alongside the volume of user reports we're seeing right now. We can't access ISP network telemetry — what we can do is help you separate "the carrier is having a bad day" from "my router needs a reboot" before you spend an hour on hold.

All internet providers services we track

Why do internet providers services go down?

ISP problems usually fall into three buckets: an area-wide line/node failure, a regional cellular tower or core-network event, or your own equipment (modem, router, ONT, gateway). User-report spikes correlate strongly with the first two; equipment failures show up as quiet reports but a problem only at your address.

What should I do if a internet providers service is down?

Compare user-report volume on the provider's page here against your own experience. If reports are quiet, the issue is most likely local — restart equipment, test on cellular, check ethernet directly. If reports are spiking, you're waiting on the carrier and a phone call won't speed it up. Either way, run /speed-test on a known site to confirm whether your connection itself is the problem.

Monitor your own internet providers dependency

If your product depends on one of these services, set up a WebsiteDown monitor and get an email when the probe flips. Free plan includes 1 monitor with 5-minute checks.
